Our Staff

Laura@affordableinspectionservice.com	Laura Nierychlewski has been managing the business office for over ten years.  We're not sure how she does it sometimes... She schedules nearly 1,000 home inspections per year, handles the inspectors schedule, arranges for RADON and Pest Inspections, sets up the contact information and makes sure the staff of inspectors gets where they need to go.  Laura and her husband Rick live in the West Park area of Cleveland.
steve@affordableinspectionservice.com	Stephen Merrifield is the Founder of Affordable Inspection Service, Inc.  He has been involved with the construction since 1986.  Steve has four children, two of whom are serving in the armed forces. Steve served in the United States Marine Corps and has a degree from Thomas Edison College. Steve spends his leisure time riding his motorcycle, tending to his koi pond and working on this web-site. (lol) Steve is a licensed pilot with an instrument rating and lives in the Old Brooklyn area with his three cats, Piper, Cessna and Jack.
frank@affordableinspectionservice.com	Frank Friedel has been an inspector with Affordable Inspection Service for nearly 14 years, completing over 2,800 inspections in that time. Frank served in the US Army Reserve and received his Bachelors degree from Cleveland State University. Frank is a helicopter and fixed wing pilot and also has a helicopter instructor rating. Frank and his daughter live in the South Hills neighborhood of Cleveland.
chuck@affordableinspectionservice.com	Chuck Yesberger has been an inspector with Affordable Inspection Service since he retired from NASA as an engineer over 10 years ago. Chuck has completed over 5,000 home inspections. Chuck served in the United States Marine Corps and has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State. Chuck is an avid golfer and donates what little free time he has to AARP (preparing tax returns for the elderly), Habitat for Humanity and the Animal Protective League. Chuck and his wife Marilyn live in Fairview Park with their two dogs.
Jim@affordableinspectionservice.com	James Boone is an inspector with Affordable Inspection Service and brings 10 plus years of residential construction knowledge & experience. Jim has a Bachelors degree in Engineering and Masters from Case Western Reserve. Jim owned and operated a Real Estate Company in Southern California for over ten years. Jim teaches engineering/construction courses at the local community college on a part-time basis.
